What's there to talk about, Hudler's back, he has to be sent back down. That's pretty much it.

I guess you could talk about how it was ridiculous he was sent down in first place ad now subject to emergency call-up rules but that was probably covered in original thread on Jones going down.

It is the evolution of the game.

Soccer wasn't always diving. I follow Portugal, and I loved Figo. Why? Because the guy would break tackles and make something out of nothing. Rarely went down. New generation - Ronaldo. Arguably the most talented and dynamic player (either him or Messi - and Ronaldo has the size to be more dynamic). Guy goes down all the fricken time.

Same thing is happening to Hockey. EVERY SINGLE TEAM has divers. Unless they start clamping down on it, there will just be more of it. The game is evolving that way, and it is sickening.

Hopefully those two posters who had hissy fits when I suggested Jones dives don't read this thread. They might start demanding factual evidence again before they'd ever believe such a crazy notion.
