Good effort. The Flames actually had quite a few quality chances to go up 2-1 in the game. Of the young guys, I liked Brodie, Horak, and Reinhart tonight. I thought Baertschi was okay, but think he will benefit greatly from another offseason of training. He is too tentative in the high traffic areas.

Hmmm, it's easier to watch Flame's games now, because their is no expectation...a loss is easier to handle, and a win is a bonus. That being said, it was a pretty good game tonight. Fun to watch the new guys. Kipper was decent again. Glencross was decent again. Reinhart was fun. Seeing Gio do his superman impersonation was fun. I guess I had fun, watching, as a fan. hmmm.
If the Flames really want to change the culture for next year. #44 better not be back.
He isn't a hockey player. Unbelievable how many people come to his defense. He is awful. Doesn't hit, doesn't have a good stick, can't score, can't pass and he routinely misses his check. Add that to the fact he NEVER clears the net or mucks it up.
Worst player on the team since bubba. In fact, worse than bubba

I really liked what I saw from the Flames, aside from a few minutes. The Canucks continue to prove they are biggest bunch of twits in the league, a hockey club that is impossible to like on any level.
Location: Farther away from the Dome than I'd like

What the pickle happened in the last 5 min. No tv feed here and stopped checking the game thread at 2-1 when "not winning this one, but good effort" posts started showing up. But that was a 2-1 hockey game lol
