Look at their schedule... 3 games against Anaheim (good call, Justin, wouldn't want to play there); 2 against Minnesota; 1 against Chicago; and 1 against Vancouver. If they didn't have one game each against Colorado and Calgary, they might not win another game this year.

I badly want a Boston Habs playoff series again this year. That and a first round Pens and Canucks exit.

Need Tampa and Florida wins. A gap is starting to form between the bottom three and the rest though.

Panik scored in the second for the Lightning and Bailey for the Islanders. Isles lead 2-1 after 2

There is nothing in their lineup that's says they should be playing so well

Markov and Subban, a Norris candidate. Price, a Vezina candidate. A lot of good young forwards. Pretty damn good team and young. Galchenyuk? Plekanyk? Pacioretti?

I hope Sven and Gaudreau are as effective as Gallagher.

Washington is beating the piss out of Florida ... so there's that. 3-0 at the moment, looks like Carolina, Tampa and Florida will all lose.

The caps have been on quite a tear since Ovechkin has got back on track (now fourth in the league in goals). It'll be interesting to see if they can continue this pace and put some distance between them and Winnipeg.

I've seen this mentioned on the board a few times lately. Why does everyone want the Pens to bomb in the playoffs? I'd love to see Iggy win a Cup this year. The pick for the Flames will be around 27-30 anyway, might as well watch him win it all this season.

Bishop is still wearing his Senators helmet, so that's obviously not exclusively a Macdonald thing.

Because in the end I prefer what helps the Flames most. At first I wanted him to win the cup but it didn't last long. At this point I'm in "It's cool if he wins, but whatever" territory.
