Tampa Bay quickly becoming the new graveyard for goaltenders. Let's see what Bishop can do there now that he's going to get a ton of playing time. I am sure he's happy to be starting anywhere, but Tampa has gone through a ton of potential starters in recent years (Smith, Ellis, Roloson, Lindback, etc).

1 for 10 so far in noting 10 Tempting Prospects on D-Day. Connaughton would've been 2/10, but Gillis pulled trigger before publishing.

I think that this just goes to show that Gillis is asking for too much for Luongo and how much of a deterrant that contract is. You have the Lighting two years in a row looking at other alternatives and the Leafs looking at Kipper when both teams would likely ideally like to bring in Luongo.

They paid a steep price in Conacher. Good deal for the Senators.

I don't know if you're serious or pointing out that TB's goaltending situation will be shaky.

Lindbeck is 10-7 on a no-defence, 27th place team; has he really been that bad?

Personally I think we need to stop wasting assets on goaltenders (they are crap shoots, even Bernier is far from a guarantee) and aim for actual players that can potentially fill a bigger void in this organization.

But that's just me. I suspect I'll be glad Feaster didn't pay the price for Bishop once I see what TB gave up.

Conacher? Wow surprised Tampa was willing to trade him so quickly after the numbers he's been putting up this year.
