I'm guessing you are young and healthy. Not all people can walk 4 miles, carry or pull their bag and play a full round at the same time. Or maybe you think people who aren't in great physical shape shouldn't be able to play the game?

Looks fun, would help keep the course in better shape and you wouldn't really have to pave much of the course if everyone used them. Alternative is to make everyone walk all 18.
