too bad they dug themselves that 0-4 hole ... but Tampa really has a nice collection of young forwards (Conacher, Johnson, Killorn, Palat etc). They all seem to be prepared when they are recalled, and they still have Brett Connolly, J.T. Brown and Vladimir Namestnikov in the AHL ... not bad.

The Stars are up 2-0 late in the first period. Jagr has a goal and an assist. The Red Wings score a late power play goal and lose 4-2 to the Wild. The Oilers lead 1-0 on a power play goal by Gagner.

Pavelski scores to tie it 1-1 against the Oilers.
The Ducks get the early 1-0 lead just over a minute into the game and Toews ties it with a shorthanded goal.

now I normally mock the Oilers but I will give them credit for allowing the trans-gender cheer leaders. Good for them, there is enough hate out there these days

1 shot on the Oilers 4 minute PP. Some solid work by their young guns.

Blindside headshot by Lupul. It looks dirty but the league will cite mitigating factors (i.e. Hedman's head was down, he was in a crouching position, shortened season etc.) as to why Lupul only gets less than 5 games.

So they're improving then? That's some commendable work by Lowe and Tambellini; I honestly think Katz should give them the extension they so obviously deserve posthaste!

That's the beauty of this site these days.
The minute anybody feels any joy for any reason, somebody is there to immediately remind us all just how much the Flames suck and that we shouldn't be able to enjoy anything anymore because of the Flames suckiness.
Wet blanket.

The Minnesota game he's referring to is the Flames / Wild game, he's just making sure you don't forget how abysmal things are for the Flames.

Regulation Oilers win is probably best for the Flames for those who haven't given up. 4 points back of 8th with 2 games in hand.
Flames have the lowest games played in the NHL
