Berglund cuts the lead to 1 in Vancouver. Another puck to the head of a defenseman as Tanev got smoked.

What an ugly dive by dale Weiss in the Canuck game, even cuthbert made mention of him looking for the call.

After 2 straight full shifts by st Lou in the offensive zone with the Canucks unable to change, Weiss goes diving for a stoppage.

Disgraceful stuff.

So the Coyotes haven't scored on the Kings in 5 periods? Damn, the Kings are back to playing Sutter hockey.

I miss Darryl as coach.

Tanev, a bright spot for vancouver like Brodie hs been for Calgary just left after berglunds goal, took a puck to the jaw, looks like it knocked him silly.

I would take Bernier straight up for Iggy. Wow LA is lucky to have two star goalies

That was too funny not to chuckle every time someone mentions it.

I think they're more lucky to have 12 forwards who play defence every single night.

He got clipped in the knee by an L.A. player. Actually it was hard to tell who was going for the clip or if either player did anything intentionally. Doan went somersaulting then crouched face down on the ice. When he realized no penalty was going to be called he promptly got up and went looking for any L.A. player to take his frustrations out on.

Edit: I found the play you were talking about. It's hard to see clearly what happened as the camera turned away from the play, but it looked like Sobotka got his stick caught in between Weise's leg and when he tried to move forward he fell.

Dustin Brown, Anze Kopitar, Mike Richards and Jarret Stoll. Would feel comfortable putting a C on any of those sweaters.

Meanwhile on the Flames, one guy.

Sad.

I always thought that between Crosby and Ovechkin, 87 was the better player. I argued about it endlessly with my friends (fans of the russian goof). When he really started to pull away and distinguish himself as the undisputed best player in the world I was pretty happy to have been right all along. It was also pretty cool to be a penguins fan and watch the most entertaining, most skilled team in the league. My one friend quit watching hockey because he was so distraught over Ovechkin being exposed as an ineffective, one dimensional, lazy, stupid, selfish hockey player. It was wonderful. These days I really miss the rivalry though. I kind of hope Ovechkin gets back on the juice.

Though it would be nice to see as a fan of the game, Ovechkin will never eclipse 100 points again. I guarantee it.

Crosby with 50 points next closest is Kunitz with 40.

If crosby stays healthy they are going all the way
