meh players never speak their mind because people always over react to what they say.
people complain of nhl players giving boring interviews, then complain some more when they speak candidly.

Not the same thing....this wasnt an "interview", it was a specific question regarding a teammate about something said.
Miller should have become cliche guy right then and there as that stuff is to be dealt with in the room, not in the media as it affects someone directly. Even Kaleta never singled anyone specific out...just that he was pissed off at not playing.

I never complain when they give boring interviews. The more I learn about their personalities the more I dislike them.

Well most hockey players arent' exactly brain surgeons. haha.
If you listen to Jaybo on the radio and didn't know who he was, you would think he had a disability.

Ryan miller is the ultimate DB hockey player. The way he conducted himself during the lockout was a disgrace as well crying daily.

And I pray to Baby Jesus it's Eberle going the other way. No way Eberle did anything wrong in life to deserve playing for the Coilers. Free Eberle.

Shut up dude, don't give them any ideas!
Don't worry Edmonton, you guys are cool, your elite goal scoring talent will sort you out. Dynasty in the making, it's all good, Chicago proves that you don't need goaltending, and everybody hates Miller anyways. Carry on...

I think Ryan Smyth takes the cake for being the dumbest player when interviewed.

Edmonton has one of the top goalies in the league (10th in the league amongst starters with more than 10 games played in SV%). Not sure why they would even want a goalie.

I take it you never watched Billy Smith play. You set a foot in the crease, you got a two-handed chop to the ankles. Every time.

I don't have an issue with what Miller said. The reporter asked him a question, he answered. Get mad at the media guy for writting the article if you're looking for someone to get upset at.
I also love when players call out each other. It creates drama and anger. It's very very amusing.

You ask any other team mate about what was said and they would defend the guy. "You know he is obviously upset about not being able to play, but it is good to see the emotion and we look forward to hopefully get him back in our line-up" Thats the answer 9/10 guys give. Miller is an idiot. Looks like he will throw anyone under the bus thinking it makes him look better. It doesn't. I am in no way defending Kaleta, I just dislike Miller more by a mile.

If I have a son that is weird and likes hockey, I'm going to make him play goalie. His chances of making the NHL will increase.
Why are all goalies so god damn weird and mouthy? Ryan Miller is a d-bag, and should take his own advice. He complains about Kaleta talking to the media about "this stuff", but does it himself?
I can't imagine he's a well liked guy in that room.

Actually, candid people are usually well liked. You know where you stand with them. It's the people who say one thing and think another who we tend to be suspicious of.

Yeah, not that I ever cared that much, but for me nothing killed the idea of NHLers being likable normal guys faster than listening to them talk during the lockout. Hearing them talk venture outside of the regular "gotta give 110%" type of stuff, it was pretty clear the vast majority of them are either out-of-touch primma donnas or complete jockohomo morons... or both.
Apart from Teemu Selanne that is. He became even more awesome.

wow Buffalo has becme a total mess since the new owner opened his pocket book. They fleeced Van on the Cody trade but the team was supposed to be a top contender after bringing in Leino, Regehr, Erhoff and are just plain horrible. They made a nice Flames-like run to 9th place last year but this year they are in Seth Jones territory. Myers also sucking bigtime after getting a huge payday.
