Brent Burns has been converted to forward and has scored tonight. 2 goals in 2 games since becoming a forward.

Wasn't Brent Burns a forward they converted to a defenceman anyway?

No but he has played forward before.

Final scores have Boston over Florida, 4-1 and the Capitals comeback for a 3-2 regulation win over Carolina.

Brent Burns was drafted as a forward (right wing) by the Wild in 2003. Jacques Lemaire was the one who converted him to defense initally.

He returned to forward for a stretch due to concussion issues/worries but then back to defense for the Wild.

To be fair, Lemaire converts everyone to defensemen, regardless of where they're on the ice at faceoffs.

Just 2 SHUTOUTS on the OOT this time. It looks like Jake Allen is the #1 goalie in St. Louis as he stopped all 28 shots coming his way. The Blues beat the Coyotes 3-0. Steen and Stewart each had 3 points for the Blues. The Islanders beat Tampa 2-0 as Nabokov only had 18 shots on him. The Moulson-Tavares combo strikes again as Tavares scored the GWG. The Penguins turn it on in the 3rd period and defeat the Leafs 3-1 and are tied with the Habs for 1st in the east. The Bruins are just a point behind them as they won 4-1 over the Panthers. The Jets sneek into 8th place with a 3-1 win over the Rangers. The Capitals down 2-0 win 3-2 in reg time as the road team wins both games in this home away series. Ovechkin with 2 points. The Bhawks once again just barely get by the BJs, 2-1 in the SO. The Ducks win 2-1 in the SO against the Stars in a duel of the goalies. The Wild stay on the Canucks heels as they win again 5-3 over the Avs. The Canucks in a goal fest, 7-4 over the Predators. Nashville made it interesting but not quite. Same goes for the Kings, down 4-1 came within a goal but the Sharkies win game 1 on home ice 4-3 in reg time. Game 2 is Sat. night in LA.
