I was going to say 3-8-1 but we might win one or two more so managmenet can stay on course with their "win now" mentality.

I don't think it'll matter because I could see the Flames trading away their first rounder for a bag of magic beans anyway. Probably trade away more picks too....

Going 6-6 on this stretch will likely leave the Flames 10+ points out of a playoff spot as they are currently 6 points behind the Blues and chances are the top 8 teams will all sport better than .500 records over 12 games. I'm not sure if people realize how dire the situation is right now.

Whatever record adds up to stupid. Stupid being defined as finish high enough to not make the playoffs but get the crappiest pick. Stupid being defined as having assets to move but not bothering to do so so they can finish in that crappiest of all spots yet again. Stupid being defined as having a roster that each year is poorly constructed and doing nothing to correct it.

So they will come to the deadline and let it pass doing nothing of significance. The stupidity with this franchise just seems never ending.

Some of us do, we're just excited for it.

There are some very winnable games before the deadline. I expect a .500 record or one game below

No matter what happens over the next 11 games if this road trip goes 0-3 its going to be a media field day, which will then rattle the delicate psyche in that locker room we've all seen over the last few years. We struggle to the deadline and finally trade some assests in time to start the rebuild WHEN AFTER YEARS OF COMING IN 9TH PLACE AND NOT QUALIFYING FOR THE LOTTERY EVERYONE OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS DOES.

I don't even know if we can beat Columbus right now, they're playing some damn good hockey. Is it sad that I'm kinda jealous of Jackets fans right now? The JD and Kekalainen era is about to get underway with three 1st rd picks this year. They also seem to have a decent defense core, and some really solid depth guys. Oh yeah, and all of their guys are playing like they give a s*&# every single shift.......sigh

Edit: Oh yeah, I predict 3-9 (maybe some loser pts). One win each against Dallas, Columbus, and Edmonton.

This short season is so frustrating. After the San Jose win the Flames were 2 points out of the playoffs.
If the Flames lose tonight, they are legitimately in the basement with CBJ and EDM. If they win tonight and at home against DET, they are right back in the mix.

I'm still going to cheer for them to make the playoffs this year.

I predict they go 6-4-2.

5-4-3

With the "points in 4 straight games" being enough justification for this horrid management team to yet again stand still at the deadline.

Flames will go 6-6-0, just what a .500 team does. Some very winnable games in this stretch and the Flames have enough talent to win, just no semblance of a real team to beat other real teams. Our record puts us well out of a playoff spot.

That being said, I have no idea what management will do in that scenario.
