^^^ While I don't agree with his racism, that Facebook quote is referring to a larger problem that the Federal government does battle - "Citizens of convenience". They only show up when it's advantageous to them, but reside elsewhere. This is a problem in a lot of first world countries,
Barry chooses to go about it a very racist, ignorant and obnoxious manner.

If they were trying to impose Sharia law, for example, I would agree with the author's sentiment. Speaking another language to someone who understands it is not an offense as it does not infringe on any of your rights in any way.
Thats my dental office as well. Dr. Dubienski (awesome guy btw). Was just there yesterday.
One of the hygienists there is absolutely ruthless though with the scaling and I make a point of getting someone else when I go in. I won't say her name, but I'm fairly certain she is not native to Canada and English is her second language. That would just be priceless if Barry got her.

There has always been groups of old Italian men who hang out in the food court and chat. Roscarrock has alot of older Italian immigrants who bought homes there in the 60's and 70's.
So there is some truth to this letter, whether he is being sincere or is trolling.
When they were alive, my Grandpa and his brothers and friends would always go to the West Brook Mall Food Court to catch up and socialize. My grandpa came to this country when he was in his fourties and never learned English or how to drive a car.
Nevertheless, he still paid his taxes, he worked hard doing minimum wage jobs bought a nice home which he cared and kept for and raised a great family.
Lol, that has to be fake. No way would those guys just shrug and forget about it. I'd tell the guy to go f himself. And then I would speak even louder in my own language with my buddies and point at him and laugh.
The Calgary Herald would have gone out of its way to confirm his identity and confirm him as the author. They might have - maybe - even gave him a chance to walk away.
He decided to own it and he will probably pay for it.
Always interesting when a rock is turned over and something crawls out.

Wow don't come to South Florida dude (if you are real). We have 3 semi-official languages--English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole (or French).
I'm continually amazed by how well the supposedly ignorant Haitians speak English.
The best thing about the tourist season is getting to hear Russian. I'll follow those folks around just to hear them talk.
