By the way, my one suggestion would be not to do any of that silly best ball or texas scramble crap.
I would usually agree on the format, but it is really tough when you could have 5 handicappers, and 25's in the same group. Personally I think best ball works best if you have a mixed talent level, you just put in a rule that everyone has to register at least 3 drives in the foursome, and everyone has to register at least 1 tee shot on par 3's. Just mix your teams with low and high handicappers.

Personally I don't really care, I just like to golf.

Also wait and see what malcolm may suggest- we were already discussing something in the golf thread. He may be able to get us a booking at river spirit. Good course and great clubhouse.

I'll call a bunch of courses tomorrow at work. Group discounts should apply as well.

It's too bad we aren't all closer to Alberta springs. They have $65 rates on weekdays.

Yeah if you guys are interested in River Spirit I can make that happen. Probably for a pretty reasonable price too. Give me a date and approximate number of players and I'll see what I can do.

Golf, carts, pint and a steak sandwich would be easy. Could even set us up with some prizes or something probably.

Also find out if they can do a direct pay by each participant direct to the clubhouse. Like maybe we book tentatively 5 or 6 foursomes in May or June, and have 30 days to pay it up individually. However many people pay up by the deadline, is how many entrants we have, and they have a month or two to book the unused times if there is any.

That works, finish up around 5:30 or 6:00 is ideal if you ask me. But whatever day works for everyone else is fine. It is just that Sunday is my only guaranteed day off.

I can't play golf anymore due to health reasons but I have a couple of nice promo bags for prizes if you want them.

We can definitely do anything we want. I work in the pro shop there so I can organize payment however you guys prefer. One week notice would be all we need to get rid of unused times because they dont book public till 7 days out anyway.

I didn't realize you guys were talking about a tourney already. I don't go in the golf thread much for some reason, which would have seemed logical...lol. Since we have a dedicated thread now, maybe more guys like me will get some exposure to it. Either way, I'm in like Flynn.

Typically for our company tourney, we sell mulligan tickets for charity.

1 for $10.

3 for $20.
