The standings are ridiculous.

LA goes on that sweet little run, gets themselves into 4th place.

They lose one game, and BAM, back to 11th place for you.

Claude Julien doesn't hold his feelings back as he calls out the referees, the NHL and the Habs franchise for appalling "embellishment after tonight's garbage.

Both teams have their own respective horrible season, then bounce right back the next season and make the playoffs (likely for MTL), and in the case of Montreal are battling for the Conference lead.

How come the Flames can't do that?

Oh yeah, because we can't draft and have no talent in the 23-27 year old range.

Never mind.

Both those teams also have their forwards buying into TEAM and backchecking and supporting the defencemen every shift.

Haha that would be pretty funny, cause then the Oilers would be stuck with him for a year and be forced to ride it out or trade one of Hall, Yakupov, Eberle, RNH for help in other so desperate areas.
