Jordano was brutal all game but this was a team loss and a coaching loss. This team played with no effort and no passion tonight. Embarrassing performance.

Terrible thread title.

It wasn't that bad. Joey played great. Work is needed on the PP.

9 mins of powerplay. 1 shot.

That is pretty much it.

Take the point and move and don't overreact, but I know there won't be any of that around here.

Ugly game, didn't deserve anything, but got a point. There's been games where the Flames deserved more and didn't get it. It all evens out.

Move on to Denver.

I don't, we need the extra points from these games, and we totally had that with the pp opportunities, this is awful.

All the power plays killed the flames skating game and it seemed with every power play Minnesota gained momentum.

You gotta feel for MacDonald. Only guy that showed up and boy did he look good.

Very lucky to get 1 point. Discipline + awful powerplays sucked the life out of the Flames. I like Joey Mac though

Our embarrassingly inept PP cost us 2 points tonight. Will this team ever win more than 2 in a row? It seems impossible for this team.

And why is Butler and Jbo together again, especially late in the game?

Powerplay lost us the game. New second unit forwards should be:
Bear - Huds - Stemps

Wild are a decent defensive team, but that doesn't completely explain or excuse the absolute stupidity shown by most members of the Flames tonight.

How many times did a Flames player skate the puck into a no-exits position?

Dumb, uninspired play.

That was a loser performance by a loser team. I counted zero scoring chances after they went up 1-0. Astonished at how listless they were throughout the evening and there is honestly zero excuse for it. Time for some real soul-searching because almost no one showed up tonight and I really want to know why. The two extended powerplays were some of the most pathetic hockey I have ever seen. A truly pathetic performance by a loser team.

Meanwhile, the genius GM watches while the team he has assembled with no NHL centers is actually the worst faceoff team in NHL history. Is this guy as moronic as he seems letting things get to this point? They basically can't win a draw anywhere.

The culture of losing continues. Maybe Hartley will have some crafty quote because this team sure as hell didn't do much to win the game tonight in what was absolutely one of their worst performances of the year.

MacDonald was outstanding and the only reason they got a point aside from Giordano in the first. Stajan, the team's only center, was also very good throughout.

Didn't Minny have like 7 PP as well...and only got one goal on the 4-3...yet the Flames are embarrassing?

This loss is on Hartley. When you're pp is struggling like that and you have cervenka and sven on the bench and you give them maybe 30 secs on the man advantage then you're the definition of insane.
