That's the weird part. Didn't hockey night in Canada do a segment on the Giordano family a couple of years ago? I swear the interviewer was pronouncing Giordano to their faces, and they said nothing.

Having an italian family I've got weird looks from a lot of fans sonce I've been pronouncing his name correctly when he was still bunking with the dion.
There is still a few more players that's names are butchered.
Cervenka was one until camp ended.
Cogliano is another one that comes to mind. G is silent. Battaglia was another one bob cole would butcher and has anyone heard mahr try to say Pietrangelo? Butcher.
Bertuzzi has also been pronounced wrong. Former flame goalie muzzatti as well.
Wait, so if that's how you properly pronounce it, does that mean the ATB commercials are also pronouncing it wrong? You would think Giordano would have had them correct the pronunciation in an ad that's going to be played nationally on TV.
