They do. They buy up tons of transport space for every product launch from China. Air freight rates go up drastically accordingly. I believe most of that is just for their stores alone. Demand is so high that online orders are often (mostly?) sourced and sent directly to the customer as they come off the line.
It's not like the amazon warehouse where you'd gather a product for days/weeks/months before a customer makes an online purchase. Items are basically spoken for already before they are finished. That's the impression I get at least.
