Minnesota looks even more miserable than last year. If they don't improve, Yeo will be on a short leash next season.
To a Flames fan, they have a very familiar look of constipation.

Team in serious flux right now.
Good group of youngsters not quite able to take the reigns mixed in with some older players not cutting the mustard.
This is a growth year for them.

I agree, but the expectations for this season were great in Minnesota, whether that's fair or not.
They have one line and then a weird assortment of forwards that Yeo frantically shuffles.

Edmonton-Minnesota is the worst game I've watched this season.
Saturday's game is going to be quite the clash of titans.

Minnesota should be a better team than this. They should pick up Ruff ASAP.
What was Backstrom doing on that goal?

Bizarre coaching decision by Dallas in the last two minutes. Down by a goal and on the PK, they go into a passive box??? Canucks simply pass the puck around on the perimeter to win.

Ya at first I wasn't sure of AV's decision to put Daniel on the point on that PP, but then Dallas just sat back. Henrik probably held the puck on one play for about 20 seconds

When teams play that passive a box, you'd kind of like to see them throw the puck around like that even when they're not running out the clock. By the time 1:00 had gone by, the PKer's looked so tired they couldn't have challenged the puck carrier if they'd wanted to. Could've lined up some nice looks in the second half if they'd wanted to.

I don't think I've ever seen a team with such bad luck, than Ottawa this year. Every possible key player has been severely injured in less than a month in play. Without Anderson now, they should really look to call it a season and get a high pick. The only significant player to not get hurt is Alfie, and he's probably on deck next. Crazy stuff.

Calgarian Thomas Hickey gets his first NHL goal as a overtime winner tonight for the Isles. Happy for him, was definitely the best player I played with or against back in minor hockey, you could tell when he was 8 years old that he was going to make the NHL. Good for him for finally finding a role in the NHL with the Isles, he never got his chance with the Kings.

Gotta love the Edmonton announcer chirping about Minny being the lowest scoring team in the league but failing to mention the oilers are 2nd worst.

99% of time I'd agree, but the way our D has been playing I think we were safer with Daniel back there.
Really weird by Dallas to not challenge in the last 2 minutes. They played like they were protecting a lead.

Is that the same guy who chirped Columbus being the worst team in the NHL last year?

Jesus, does the Oilers offensive gameplan involve a rolling barrage of artillery? That ice looks like ass. And the Wild score again, there's no way they don't end up with a top 4 pick again.

Edmonton announcer "If they're going to call that knee on knee I have trouble with that..."
Seriously?
