'Hawks play soft in the 3rd, and give up too many PPs...but hold on with a 3-2 win in regulation...Vancouver next opponent on Tuesday...Sharks back to the UC on Friday.

What a great doubleheader on NBC. Really enjoyed the Kings-Blackhawks game.

The third game of Hockey Day in the America is the Capitals-Rangers game on NBCSN in the USA. No simulcast of this game on TSN and TSN2 due to the NBA all star game and Curling's Scotties Tournament of Hearts respectively. The game is simulcast on RDS in Canada with french commentary. The Capitals lead 1-0 after one period.

Detroit leads 1-0 after one period over the Wild.

The Jets lead 1-0 over the Bruins in the second period.

We shall see if the Canucks can beat a team outside the Northwest Division. The Blues will not be an easy opponent. I wonder if Jake Allen will be in net again for St. Louis.

The dive that lead to the tieing goal was so blatant it was hilarious.

Absolutely ridiculous. League needs to step in and start handing out fines.

Regarding Oshie's shootout attempt on Luongo:

What the hell was that?

Luongo looked like a shooter tutor in that shootout. I don`t think he moved at all on either shot.

Luongo sucks in the shoot out and was obviously thinking deke the whole way. He can't seem to adjust one way or the other.

Missed the penalty that lead to the tying goal, but I'll admit couple minutes earlier Burrows did a major dive and I though it was embarrassing

Backes probably would have gotten a goalie interference penalty if Lou didn't explode on contact. Nice to get a point but the Canucks have been craptacular when playing with a lead this season.

Well those Vancouver Cannots are showing that they have tough time playing teams in the conference outside of the NW division. LOL on Loserongo letting in the first SO attempt right through the legs as the Blues win 4-3 SO. Rangers beat the Capitals 2-1 in reg time. Steppan gets the GWG on the PP in the 3rd period. Holtby was great in goal facing 40 Ranger shots. The Wild went on a wild scoring rampage, 3 goals in 4:10, there were 2-0 and won the game 3-2 in reg time against the Red Wings. That was a bit of a shocker come back. The back up goalies played in this game. The Bruins hang on for the 3-2 regulation road win against the Jets. Time did run out as the Jets scored after time expired. The Bhawks just keep on winning or not losing in reg time as they beat LA 3-2 in reg time. The Bhawks were playing a bit of hang on as they were up 3-0 before Richards scores 2 PPGs with Doughty assisting on them. Ray Emery is playing well in net with Crawford injured and the Bhawks are now 21 games away from tying the Flyers 35 game unbeaten streak. Quick was back in goal for the Kings. The Penguins get up 2-0 in the first 1:27 from puck drop early and then score the GWG with just over 2 minutes left in reg time and hang on to win 4-3. Is it a strange coincidence that all OOT games plus the Flames game were all decided by 1 goal?
