Stupid, I really like Jones.. Optimistic that a trade is upcoming but lets get real, if it's anything, it's a minor deal.

I think he will. I imagine GM's when talking tell eachother they won't give up an asset for a depth guy but if they put him on waivers they will make a claim.

I really liked Jones as a 4th line guy. Jackman and Comeau should be the one on waivers. I wouldn't be surprised if he got picked up at all.

Jackman and Comeau have both been bad. Comeau moreso from his lack of finish. Jackman has just been useless IMO.

Not a big fan of Jones but he seems to be a fine fit for the 4th line and for a team with no centers already and a guy like Begin on the roster seems odd that Jones would be waived.
Always hard to guess what some teams will do with injuries they have and always needing centers but you would think that Jones could easily pass through waivers unless a team had a specific need due to injuries.

I'd just like to be the 30th person to point out that Comeau should be on waivers, not Jones. Unless something is coming down the pipeline this just doesn't make sense to me. Jones hasn't had the numbers this season but he's played hard and been effective.

Arnott is also an upgrade over Comeau and Jackman, still weird that Jones is being waived.
