As long as your boss is aware of the issue, and manages accordingly, you'll be fine.
I had a peer who plagiarized my work and got promoted to be my supervisor as a result. I went much farther than you did and threatened to quit. Instead, they moved me to another project.
Open up the telescoping portion of her chair at work and put a bunch of uncooked shrimp in it.
I've found going to people like this first and discussing it with them is usually a waste of time. She's behaving deliberately and obviously isn't interested in fair play. Going to your boss was the right thing to do. As with any behavior that is not within reason, dealing with it swiftly and directly tends to bring the best results. She now knows she's been called out and your management will be better conditioned to be aware of future instances. No need to feel that things are 'dicey' in the office. She created this situation with her dishonesty. Its hers to wear.
If the situation continues however I'd offer a variation on BigTime's solution: Duct tape a hand-held air horn to the telescoping portion of her chair. When she sits down and her arrival has been blasted out to everyone in the office, you can congratulate her, in front of the gathering mob of her peers, on her latest corporate innovation.
If you created the spreadsheet it then your boss should be able to look at the author of it and it will show your username.

I have to admit though, part of the reason I am upset about that one particular instance is because the system I developed sped up a part of the planning phase that we normally allotted a couple of hours too. It now ables me to do it a lot quicker and thereby spend more time on other things and not blow the budget. Now the cat is out of the bag and I can't eff the dog as much on other things.

I would talk to her about it. Not in a confronting, aggressive way, but in a way which still makes the conversation safe. Something along the lines of "I'm not saying this to attack you, or your character. This issue is causing me problems, and I want us to sit down and talk about it. I'd like you to know I'm not coming from a place of anger or judgement, but understanding. As I want to solve this problem constructively, together ". Especially now since you've opened up a can of worms.
A great resource is the book "Crucial Conversations". It definitely helped get through challenging issues with people in my life.
She is nice and everything, but she doesn't seem to value the opinion of males as much as females.
I would make an exit from that situation.
I know this probably belongs in the unpopular opinions thread, but from my experience, women make terrible managers. They always seem to have favorites and will throw you to the wolves to save themselves.

What you should do is draft a super passive aggressive email to the entire office and act like you're giving a eulogy to common human decency. Try to be as vague, yet precise as possible. Everyone in the office LOVES getting emails like that, and it always get results.

Life's too short to read books when you know what to do instinctively.
Look her square in the eyes and tell her that if she takes credit for your work again then you will frack up her poop, then pull out a switch blade and carve her initials into your arm, then look her in the eyes again and whisper "welcome to the club"
Then walk out like a boss.

Scratch that. This is way better advice.

Have sex with her sister and never call her afterwards.
Better yet, have sex with her sister and tell her that it was her sister's (your workmates) idea that you two hook up I mean with both of you having herpes and all.
Yup its so amazing to be able to have sex without a condom again you know with the herpes and all.
Just make sure you thank your sister for me.
(Btw this is actually funnier if you don't you know have herpes)
