Bright side for him is that he'll be drawing an NHL salary... financially speaking that beats the hell out of playing in the AHL.

I was watching the Dallas feed and they mentioned it in passing so I had to wait until the DVR caught before I could check to see if it was true. Tough break for him. I think he could really look good in the current Calgary system.

Where's Pierre Monster Maguire? He usually has the scoop on the Heat players. I wouldn't mind seeing Reinhart just so we know what he offers. Horak did look good with the Hartley system so I would love if he came back.

Hopefully Beartschi is back this weekend.

Hudler-Cervenka-Beartschi
Glencross - Tanguay - Iggy
Stempniak-Stajan-Cammy
Comeau-Jones-Jackman/Begin

(Lines no specific order)

Or something like that...

If Sven isn't back then bring up Horak and put him between Iggy/Glenny and keep the Hudler/Tangs/Cervenka line together.

Jeeze do we ever need more centerman, why couldnt a winger get hurt rather than a center in Backlund..

^ It would be crazy not to start Tanguay with Cervenka and Hudler for another game after what we saw tonight...

Damn that really sucks. I really wanted him to make a big impression here and stay.

You only get so many chances at the NHL level and he fractures his hand. A real tough break for the kid. The way the game was played tonight it would have been interesting to see how he fared.

Tough break for the kid.

My money is on Horak to be called up. When discussing the MacDonald claim and the Byron call-up, Feaster said that they thought that it was between Street, Byron and Horak to get the call when Backlund went down. Street got his chance, sadly Byron was unlucky ... so Horak next. I think he deserves it.

That being said, I would be fine with Street or Max Power too

I want Aliu

I don't care how he's performing for the Heat, I just remember the impact he had for us at the end of last year.

Aliu does not fill the role that we need with these callups. Horak or Street do.

Hey. Greg Nemisz did good last year too, we should call him up. Stajan not so good last year? Can we send him down to the ahl?
