Haha pretty ballsy starting this right from the get go with this team. It is gonna seem pretty silly with hartley talking about it to the boys before a game after the fourth straight series loss

I'm not blaming Hartley for this loss. If the big boys would have shown up and given the same effort as our 3rd line.
We are discussing wins.
Hartley has been refreshing vs the Sutter hockey last 2 seasons.

That's the problem though isn't it? Our "top line guys" are there based on what they've done in the past. This team is living in the past and has for a few years now. We're a team that's always been full of former 20 goal scorers, we always base our teams on what they've done instead of what they can do and proof is bringing in a coach that is trying to get the most from his older players.

This team has to stop looking at the past and start to focus on the future if they want to change things (changing things might mean get a little worse before getting better instead of just being bad)

Hope this gets the the boys into the right mentality....I expected 2 points last night but we got squat. If they don't right the ship after Block 2 we are screweeeeed.
