Positive Customer Service Thread

I had a real good experience with one of the Service guys at South Creek Toyota. It was obvious that he was trying to save me some money, instead of maximizing his commissions. So I e-mailed his boss and told him what a great employee they had.

few years back my wife and kid were out of town and I just finished work really late that night. So I called some friends who were at the Met, I was wearing sneakers and a hoodie that night when it was already lined up 20 people deep. I figured maybe I'll try waiting, but first I walked up and just asked the bouncer if I could get in with my shoes, he says "sorry man, not tonight, what's the occasion?", I just tell him I was meeting some friends since my family was out of town for the night... He steps aside, let's me in told me that he totally understood.

Chipotle just opened a restaurant in Vancouver and I went there before the holidays. Unfortunately my credit card was stolen/copied earlier in the week, and I only had a debit card. So when I went to go pay with debit, and the cashier said they do not take debit (there were no signs) I told the cashier to put my meal aside and I would go run to an ATM. Before I could leave, the manager stopped me and gave me the meal for free because "he knew it was kind of a pain they didn't have debit working yet".

Anyways, the food was great, service was above and beyond, and the staff were really friendly. I have been there about four times since that experience. Love it!

If you want bad customer service, in the bad is good way, go to Burger Inn on Macleod. That guy that has been behind the counter there for the last 10 years or so is a beaut. In his 2 pack a day voice, "So whadya want on dis thing?" "Ya havin somethin to drink?" I am sure some of you here have been served by him.
