$50 in Vegas on the Flames to win the Cup.
$20/game against my supervisor for each Battle of Alberta.
The latter of the two is easy money. Shame they're only playing 4 times this season.

As an Oilers fan I won $200 two years ago from fellow Oilers fans betting they would miss the playoffs, another $200 last year on the same bet and it's going down again this year. I'm cheering for the Oilers but don't mind taking my irrational family members' money either.

I will take one (1) avatar bet from a damn dirty Greasers fan. All summer long with the opposing teams avatar and sig image to the person whose team finishes lower in the standings this season.

I signed up for Bodog because of this thread, as I normally use sportsinteraction, and received the $100 sign up bonus. I have $50 on the field to win the Vezina ($1,650 win), $98.32 (max bet) on the Flames to make the playoffs ($393.28 win) and $100 on the Flames to have more than 50.5 points ($186.96 win).

Hockey would like to place a wager on newly signed Canuck, Cam Barker. Does this count?

I'll take that bet, if we include the signature. From season's end to first puck drop in 2013-14?

Took Carolina to win the cup at 25:1 in July. Forgot about that.

I had a lifetime bet of $100 per season that the Flames would finish with more points than the Oilers in the regular season. He quit paying up about 5 years ago. I'm keeping the tab running though.

A flat of beer if the Flames make the playoffs and a bonus flat if they end up playing the Sharks in the 1st round, just like they did in 1995.

It's going to be pretty hard for the Flames to finish 31st overall.

Heheh, yeah I had a nearly identical set up with a Laffs fan. He finally threw in the towel after last year.

Done. Bet is placed. Flames finish higher you are all flames av and sig, the inverse is true should the Grease finish higher.

Same as always. I have an ongoing bet with a buddy, who finishes higher in the standings, Calgary or Mulletville.
He bets a bottle of quality Bajan Rum, and to be honest, I can't recall what I bet......I never have lost.
Tasty tasty rum.

I'm feeling loco esse, but I'm willing to take a bet on TJ Brodie vs Ryan Suter.
Suter PPG last year 0.58
Brodie PPG 0.26
Last time I made a bet like this was in 08/09 where I put $50 down that Weber would outscore Dion, and got laughed at by my pals. We all know how THAT turned out.
This is a pretty big flyer, but I'm thinking Brodie really steps it up this year and Suter drops in production. Will need some kind of point spread though.
