This was just another totally thoughtless and over hyped non-story. Someone reported seeing what they thought was some sort of gun somewhere near a school and the police swing into their standard response, which looks exciting/scary and the media love that stuff. People see the news and then feel unsafe, which is a real shame. Common sense and history dictate it's not going to be anything other than a prank or a misunderstanding in Calgary. The news could be responsible and ease off/stand by until they figure out if there's anything to report or not instead of jumping on every police response just because it looks cool.
