If it dips down to 6,500 STH we can go back to the Corral.
I honestly think when the puck drops people will forget allot of this. Attendance might go up and down with the teams fortunes but I doubt we see "young guns era" attendance any time soon.

Can we put this word on the filter?
I'm not sure what you expect the Flames to do, some token free hot dog promo doesn't really mean much so I don't see the point of it. The charity angle is a good one, so long as it's additional money and not just slapping 'thank you fans' on existing relationships.

Just win. I'll throw up if I see "Thank you Fans" painted on the ice. Or how about some REAL HONESTY (as that was surely lacking) when the nose bleeds...err...Press Level Seats...are nearly empty and we continue on our "sell out" streak. While I'm on the topic of honesty, how about a real chance for random fans to participate in the games held during stoppages in play instead of the "pre-selected" fans (no word of a lie as I knew someone who worked in the Flames front office...the "random fan" is connected via some X degrees of separation...)

Wait, what? When were the nosebleeds ever "nearly empty"?

Show the fans you appreciate them by having Matt Stajan work the concession stand, not for just one game, but the entire season. He looks like he should be selling hotdogs and beer for a living anyway.

Maybe not nearly empty, but it was only about half full last season at each of the 6 or 7 games I attended. And it better stay that way, I love buying cheap tickets second hand for up there!

That is great! I would probably think the players are less greedy buggers too if they offerd up 50% of one game's salary to local charities - matched by the owners.

It would be nice to see the Flames and players give the money lost from 50/50 and other things done at the arena to the charities that missed out. I know the charity that the Canucks support using 50/50 get something like 70% of their donations from that. Gotta be a huge loss to them this year.

But that money comes mostly from us, not them......in the case of the LA donation, the funds actually came from the hockey club.

The Flames don't owe me anything. They are refunding my tickets for all the games I missed, and the interest I accrued may pay for my first crack draft of the year. In fact, i'm more excited to go to a hockey game at the Dome than I have been in quite some time. This was a much needed break from the boring hockey I'd been watching for the past 3+ years. I'm recharged, considerably less jaded on the team, and ready to get back into it.

Few things I would like..First make the playoffs, second beat Oilers in the playoffs, Third beat the Canucks in the playoffs and finally get a second Stanley cup.
But realistically i'm just excited hockey's back and could less about any gimmicks.
