That's an old picture of downtown. The buildings between the convention center and the high rises are gone, that's now LA Live. Staples Center is to the right of the convention and it kind of looks like dirt in that picture, so probably the earliest stage of construction.

so ive been reading that all the pro gun guys are like "see!! california has some of the harshest gun laws and it still happens"

but l shudder to think how much more of a tragedy this could have been if the kid had a assault rifle
