There's an error with the qualifying offer thing where sometimes it will tell you you don't have the cap space to qualify a guy when you clearly do. Everyone should just lay off of Subban and let Ottawa have him back if he can sign him (though the CPU teams won't be so generous).

Do the free agents usually accept right away? If they do I understand delaying but if not don't we still have several weeks of free agency to sign and trade players? Why don't we just keep simming every day like we've been doing so we can play faster?

I can't sign free agents because I have no cap space so I want to get rid of some guys to make room.
I don't want to lose out on my key guy because I don't have $1m extra in cap space.
It seems like I can't buy out players anymore either so not sure what to do.

Doesn't matter for me anyway. Even if I trade guys, it would need to be advanced to get the trade to go through.

Edit: My god, going through the teams everyone has like $20-30 million in cap space and I have $4 million. wtf?!?!

There will be a advancement tomorrow morning and then the next one will be Sunday evening. (Im going to be out of town) That will give everyone one day to see who they got and didnt get and then a extra day to do whatever needs to be done. As soon as I am back Sunday we will be back on the 1 sim per day and in the later weeks of free agency I think 2 sims a day is ideal. Most of us will have our rosters set after 2 weeks of free agency.

Wow Tampa got Getzlaf, Kane and Marchand while Florida signed Shattenkirk, Subban, Boedker and Rask. Massive upgrades in the Eastern Conference...not to mention Washington swinging a trade to get Daniel Sedin from Detroit.
No action from many teams, including those I spoke to online about still being active in the league...guess it's their loss cause I mentioned we were advancing free agency daily.

Burrows is still unsigned, a bunch of good players still available. Once the others players who haven't done anything yet get on and look, they will be snapped up i'm guessing.

I got 2/3 of my guys. I didn't hav the space for 3/3 anyway so doesn't really matter. Got Hodgson and Brendan Smith for cheap. I wanted Pietrangelo, but didn't have the cap space. Was goin to offer him $7.5/6yrs.

EA is so ridiculous... my trade went through, but Pacioretti isn't counting against my cap and I can't change his jersey number. I can only assume that means that he isn't on my NHL roster and the game decided to send him straight to the AHL for no reason. Is there a way to get him back on my actual roster in the offseason? If I have to put him through waivers and someone claims him, I just... quit.
