I wanted to send some sort of holiday greeting to all members of CalgaryPuck, but it is difficult in today's world to know exactly what to say without offending someone. So I thought it over a six pack of beer, and in my drunken state I wish to say the following :
Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.
I wish you all a fiscally successful and personally fulfilling recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2013, BUT not without due respect to all posters here and that of other teams whose contributions to CalgaryPuck have helped to make this hockey forum awesome (not to imply that CalgaryPuck is necessarily better than any other hockey forum or is the only "forum" worth discussing hockey on) and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, or sexual orientation of all the posters here.
By accepting this greeting, you are accepting the following terms:
This greeting is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the ending of the current NHL lockout, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this greeting or issuance of a new greeting at the sole discretion of the greeter.
Offer is void where prohibited by law and not available for Gary Bettman and Donald Fehr (You get a sack of coal for Christmas!)

For the past 8+ years this community has been my online home. I have met some of the awesome people in this community and others I feel like I know through years of exposure to their antics!
I would like to thank Bingo, Photon, and all of the moderators for creating an awesome place to talk about literally anything, a top quality news source, a source for endless debate, and most importantly the foremost hockey community online!
Here's hoping we have some NHL hockey to talk about soon.
