I'd say we need to arm firefighters, but clearly they need both hands free to hold the hoses.

Therefore, the only logical solution is a hose mounted gun of some sort.

-----

While we are talking about correcting the proliferation of insane weapons in our society, let's toss nutcase religions into the mix. Because the time has long since gone by where they gotta go. And they are unquestionably insane weapons.

Or perhaps we could use all the affordable firepower to remove the latter. If these latest shooting are a mental health issue, is religion less? Nope.

I believe I may be on to something here.

Or change the firefighter qualification standard to four arms and two heads per man, two arms and one head to hold the gun and aim and two arms and one head to fight the fire.

Easy breezy.

I just dont get it. Firefighters? I can maybe kind of understand why someone would want to do this to police (not that I would ever condone such a thing, but it would at least make some shed of sense) but to firefighters? That are trying to put out your house? Its not like theyre there to arrest you or anything. What an awful awful human being.

I must be missing something, but what does this have to do with religion? Honestly I don't know where your getting this.

and what did the NewTown shootings have to do with religion, or the movie theatre killings, or the mass murders in Norway.

I don't think your on to anything with all due respect.

I'm not seeing a link unless your working really hard to find it.

You don't get your name in the paper if you shoot ordinary men any more. It's gotta be children or fire men.

There are a certain element in society that want to die and to take others with them. They exist here too. In America, they have the Second Ammendment to provide them with the means.

It was just an additional thought, I didn't want to switch threads or start a religion one.

This is the perfect thread for jokes and sarcastic remarks. Keep up the good work CP. Oh and even mention religion out of the blue, this is also a good time.

Honestly I don't even react to this crap anymore, same with the newtown shooting. It's so common and predictable lately, the moral outrage is pointless. Nothing will change, people's priorities are messed up, there has been a huge increase in gun sales since newtown, because of the looming threat of gun control.

It's not that I don't feel bad for the victims and their families, but its hard not becoming desensitized when it happens every couple of months with nothing changing.

It was not a shot at you.

I am getting the same way, and it bothers me.

We shouldn't be able to "accept" these types of incidents.

This happened today.

Two fireman are dead and two are injured, while doing their job, on Christmas Eve. An inherently dangerous job that serves to keep us all a little safer and some jackass killed them.

Let's cut the jokes for a little bit there funny man.
