Furbies sold like hotcakes in 1999, the year before Y2K, and now mysteriously they're back in 2012, the end of the Mayan Calendar.
Un-coincidentally, Silver is preparing for the apocalypse, and suddenly has grave interest in finding two furbies, when two mini-crossbows would be a much more prudent gift.
Theory: Furbies are some sort of post-apocalyptic tool issued by the Illuminati. To what end... I guess we'll find out.

My sister got one the first time around, and it would kick on randomly and start talking for years after she got it. Creepy...

She is now saving for an iTouch.

I hope that your SIGG water bottle isn't an old aluminum one with that disgusting rubber lining inside. Gross.

The SIGG water tastes fine. I think it has the liner you're talking about, but it hasn't ever bothered me and I'm pretty picky about my water.
Your random hatred of things is hilarious, BTW.

Ahh, Amazon worked out well and I had them overnighted to me for $30, which wasn't bad. It probably would have cost me double that to drive out to ballsack.

Yeah I didn't bother to check the price at the store, so no way to confirm. I just happen to spot them while browsing, and it reminded me of this thread.

I saw them at Showcase at Northland Mall, I believe they were $70! Holy crap that's a lot of cheddar for a creepy little toy.
btw: are these things carbon copies of the one's from the 90's, or have they improved them since?
