I know we're all having a blast making fun of these two weirdos, but am I the only one who thinks this is a bit severe of a punishment for something like this?

I kind of agree... I mean, it was consensual.

Yeah inbreeding greatly increases the risk of birth defects.

But then again... so do most health conditions....

This is a weird topic.... It should definitely be illegal. I just think 5 years in jail for a (technically) victimless crime is pretty intense.

But its not really a victimless crime, because even if the child doesn't have any physical or mental disabilities, he will have psychological issues growing up when he learns that his mom is also his sister

Yeah but that kind of applies to any family structure outside of the norm.

Again I don't disagree that this should be illegal, simply cause of how effed up this. I could also justify it being illegal due to the added influence a parent may have in this type of situation.

Gross.

A man is holding a photograph of a man and says "brothers and sisters I
have none but this mans father is my fathers son". Who is the man in the photo?

There is nothing saying the "other" dad isn't one and the same as the first dad.
