Congratulations! She is a sweetheart - you can just tell. Have you fell in love with being a Dad yet? I think it's awesome.
4-13 is very tiny. Our smallest was 7-13. Do you mind me asking if she was early, and if so by how much? You said completely healthy, which is the key.
If you do mind me asking, simply ignore me

Congrats, and glad to hear that she's healthy. When they're that small you can drive yourself nuts hoping that you feed them enough, and that they're putting on enough weight.

Congrats.
When the time comes, do yourself a favour and check out the Infant Resource Center. They saved me from insanity when my twin boys refused to sleep through the night (at 8 months old). They also have a bunch of other good stuff. Kitty Raymond, if she's still there, is really good.

Congrats. I bet she has you wrapped around her finger already. I know mine did when she was born and still does. Her name is Paige as well.

when you have daughters, you'll find yourself diong all sorts of stuff you never thought you'd do, like tea parties and makeovers. Enjoy.

Nope, don't mind. Yes she was just over 3 weeks early. Today is actually what her due date was supposed to be.

Sorry to bring back an old thread but I've been a dad for just over a year now and I read back through the posts and the advice that was given, and all I can say is you guys were spot on! From the worrying to the lack of sleep...everything that was said was true. What can I expect for year 2? She's not quite walking yet...real close though and you can't turn your back on her for a second as she's not afraid of anything and can crawl faster than I thought was possible. haha.
recent pics, her first Halloween and Im turning her into a Jays fan like her Dad.

For year two expect chaos that will make a Vancouver riot look like a book club meet. She will be into everything!

Congrats! Only one piece of advice: don't worry about any of the developmental milestones, whether it's walking or talking or potty training or anything else. It all averages out, and they ultimately decide whether they're ready to do something, and you can encourage them but you can't push them to do things before they're ready.

Oh...and try to slow down and enjoy this age. Before you know it she will be in high school. It happens so fast.

First piece of advice take of that blue jays gear! She will love you more for it. I can't wait for my daughter to reach the 12 month stage she is currently 4 months.
