I don't think it's that bad. I think it's forgotten how small some of these cities are.
Moose Jaw & Prince Albert have only about 35,000 people, Swift Current has only 15,500 people
The Pats are the only team in Saskatchewan I would complain about the attendance for.

I kinda felt like they were sticking themselves in the side when they made their uniforms and team name so closely resemble the Flames...
There were some other good options for team names that wouldn't have forced red jerseys upon them. I know it seems to superficial, but they've been a very exciting team since arriving and I just don't feel like they get the respect they deserve.

I was hoping they wouldn't call the team Abbotsford either. I thought they should have gone with the Fraser Valley monicker since there are close to 300,000 people in the region, half of them outside Abbotsford.

I hadn't thought of that. That's a good point.
edit: Lots of names sound good with that locale too. Falcons, Vikings, Vultures, etc.

I thought about it because it was one of the reasons they went with the Quad Cities moniker when the farm team was there so they could try and capitalize on fans from Rock Island, Bettendorf and East Moline, as well as Moline wher they were actually playing, it added about 300,000 people to their "local" region.

When I heard they were coming to Abbotsford, I thought the name Fraser Valley Bandits would've been cool. Primary black jerseys with red and silver would've matched local Abbotsford teams (i.e., Abbotsford Falcons, WJ Mouat Hawks, all have red and black). I mean, let's face it: while those colours do reflect the Flames, they also reflect local Abbotsford teams.
Anyways, here's hoping for another win - this time not in extra time please. My heart can't take anymore of that crap haha.

I think Regina or Saskatoon would support the AHL better than the WHL but they wouldn't support both.

Not sure why they would support the AHL better but definitely agree that both would not work.

Early game pressure by the home team. Ward mentioned they'd have to weather some storms in this match.

I think Granlund is fairly close to returning. Brodin is out for a while though.
From what I've seen this year, I've liked Zucker on the Aeros.
