That does not sound like my hangovers. I would cut out the caffeine. Too much caffeine will make me sweat and shake.

If it doesn't happen regularly I wouldn't worry too much about it. If it starts happening more than once you should definitely see someone. I used to have problems with this. Still coping to a degree.

When I was a kid hangovers were a headache that a few advil and one maybe two gatorades could easily fix before round 2 started. Now a days it is similar to recovering from minor surgery.

The other day before the gym I decided I needed to take a pre work out, as I was quite tired. I haven't taken anything before my work outs for a while so my system's tolerance was low (do you always drink 4 shot expresso's?). I took the pre, went to the gym, had a great work out, but when I got home I had similar symptoms to you. I was slightly dizzy, incredibly fatigued/hungry, and just an overall anxious feeling in my stomache. I waited it out for about 30 minutes and it passed. Your body is one huge complex system, when you introduce things into it is very possible that you are unbalancing the system in another area. This sounds to me like your body was just responding to the 'unbalance' of little sleep, crappy food, booze, partying and then a huge jolt of caffeine.

Sounds like it's caffeine related to me.

Many years ago, I had a friend who wanted to stay up all night studying for an exam, and took about 10 pills of caffeine citrate to stay alert. Needless to say he ended up in the hospital, as his heart beat took off.

If it continues I'd see a doctor.

That's like the definition of a panic attack.

As someone who has had anxiety attacks, do you feel like you are about to die?

My heartbeat goes crazy, nothing I do seems to help, can't lay down, walking around kinda helps, but when its going full blast I often think of calling 911. The more of them I go through, the better I get at handling them, controlling your thoughts and telling myself outloud "this is just a panic attack, you are fine" while trying to control my breathing helps.

If I lie down I feel like a large person is laying on top of me.

Ughh thankfully I've only had 3 in the last 5 years.

So this morning it was sort of lingering but I think that might have been caused by me worrying about it coming back. Once I got my skis on and hit the slopes it was gone for good.

Hopefully I don't ever have to go through that again. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in my life. Definitely going to cut back on the coffee.

Thank you everyone for the advice and suggestions of what it could be. I appreciate it

I've found for any type of anxiety getting out and being active is the best remedy, not just skiiing.

I get them when I have to fly. To a point I have to take Ativan every time I had to get on a plane.
