Last summer, with the donation of his kidney, Norm Price gave his sister a life-saving gift.

Now this winter, Price is giving back again, but this time to his community by offering up a backyard pond as a public skating rink.
At 84 St. N.E., between 16 Ave. and McKnight Blvd., east of Stoney Tr., the 28-acre parcel of land sits behind his home and 84 Storage Limited he co-owns.

Good on him.

just checked northhaven and triwood. ice at triwood is perfect but there are no lights on and the nets are not out. northhaven just finished flooding and there are lights/nets. my friend said the ice in banff trail sucks so i didn't bother checking that rink.

When I lived in Bridgeland I always went to the Ramsay one. It has a roof so it usually has pretty good ice.

Rosemont by Confederation Park has a dedicated crew that does a good job.

They don't have boards, but ice is usually great condition.

Went out to Wildwood rink and Triwood...maybe 3 guys at each today. Kind of disappointed...wanted to get a skate in today. Maybe try later tonight.

Anyone else have luck today?? Looking for a rink in the inner NW/SW to get a decent game of shinny today.

Glenbrook and Glamorgan both have really nice ice this year.

I've been on the ice much of the past week, and there is always a game to be had at one of the two locations. In fact, Glenbrook has had two fully suited goalies on a couple of occasions.
