Unfortunately, Clive wasn't so good in King Arthur. Interesting to see he's worried about being typecast, I would have thought immortality as a cultural icon had it's appeal too.
I agree about the need for someone that can sell the physical traits of Bond kicking ass. Roger Moore always played more of a executive Bond versus someone that could sell a whuppin better. No girly guys like Orlando Bloom. I though he was the biggest weakness to Kingdom of Heaven, it was hard to imagine him being this expert swordsman.
How about we shake up the franchise - make Bond black! Work in a little Shaft....awwww yeah.... I'd vote for Denzel if he could fake a British accent.
Oh and let Quentin direct an installment.

I think the guy who was on the Highlander tv series should be bond. Let's face it Brosnan was a decent Bond but he is way too much of a girlyman and so are a lot of the guys being mentioned for the role. Adrian Paul (I think that's his name) would be an excellent choice even though he might not have the star power behind him that some of these other guys have. It's not like Pierce Brosnan was hugely popular before he became Bond.

I agree 100% you have no idea.
I wish it would stay Brosnan though.

a bald James Bond??? Interesting. I like Statham as an actor and like his movies but I am not sure if he would work as James Bond it would certainly be a different take on Bond and the complete opposite of Roger Moore's Bond.

I'm partial to Clive Owen, I can see why you'd like Jude Law though, his effeminate vibes seems to be pretty popular with the ladies, personally, I hate the guy as an actor, Clive Owen totally owned him in Closer. I just cannot see Jude Law pulling off the Bond line in a manner that's anywhere close to Brosnan's suave moves.

I think we'll see Clive Owen as Bond when its all said and done... sure, people have said he's not interested, but he's the only Bond candidate who's name has been mentioned from day one and continues to be mentioned. Where there is smoke, there is fire.
Of course, we could see Pierce again... but I wouldn't bet on that.
Its either gonna be Owen, or most likely someone we've never heard of.
Personally, if not Owen, I'd love to see Jason Isaacs as Bond, he's probably a dark horse at best. He has that sinister look that Ian Fleming's Bond was supposed to have. He's also a dead ringer for Dalton. Only real problem is that he's balding, but did that stop Connery?

Hey, I never thought about him before... that would be my vote. Probably too rough around the edges though.
Ewan MacGregor?

Nah. McGregor doesn't have the 'regal' or 'classy' man look to him.
Jason Statham would make a decent Ethan Hunt, but not a James Bond.
My vote, without question, goes to Clive Owen at this point.
And if he can't cut it, David Spade!

I keep hearing it could be Colin Farrell, but I'd prefer it to be someone like Jude Law.
Thoughts?

Yeah I though taht movie was pretty lame except how cool Clive Owen was, he jsut ran that panzy Jude laws show, and he duped julia and he was awesome when he told her off in their apartment.. lmao

Don Knotts. No really, I'd pick Hugh Grant.
