Lily is a Great Dane that has been blind since a bizarre medical condition required that she have both eyes removed. For the last 5 years, Maddison, another Great Dane, has been her sight. The two are, of course, inseparable.

Although their diabetic cat has started taking really stinky craps.

Dogs, they can be trained to stay on the ground and off the furniture.

My dog does not eat crap, roll in piss or any of that ####. her major issue is uncontrolable barking when alone.

Put me in the pro dog, anti cat group. I never plan to own a cat and love having a puppy in the house again. I understand why people may be partial to cats though as dogs/puppies are a lot of work.

Mrs Rathji had 2 cats when we got married. I tolerated them and they crapped in my bed and pissed under my desk, it was a wonderful relationship.

I've never had a cat who pisses outside their litter box (unless ill), I've never had a dog who ate poop, I actually clean up my backyard so it doesn't smell like dog crap and scoop the litter box so it doesn't smell like cat piss. My cats & dog get along great. Cats are great companions when you have a busy life as they are pretty self sufficient besides food & water, and dogs are great companions when you want an animal with tons of personality & have the time to devote to it.

I never understand the dislike some people have for one or the other. Just because my friends dog is a disgusting, annoying jerk that eats her toddlers poop outta the diaper doesn't mean all dogs do...and just because some peoples cats are pissy (literally) doesn't mean all cats have it out for you. I love them both! And my tarantula.
