Are they going to make them more durable? Mine is disgusting after my recent trip.

My wife just got her's and it has the passport number in little holes punched through the whole thing. They must use a laser or something.

As far as I know they are still going to make them out of paper.... like every other passport in the world.

... although who knows... maybe eventually they'll make them out of the same plastic that they make the Cdn $100 bill out of now.

I've seen some passports with some durable covers on them. That's what I mean.

You can buy a cover for your passport, of course.

I thought Canadian Passports had a reputation for being easy to counterfeit. I've heard this a few times actually. Once, years ago, going through Customs in the U.S. the guard was looking at my passport and kind of giggled to himself and said "Canadian Passports are so easy to copy". Thought that was kinda odd and wondered if he had any experience doing it himself or something. But again, that was quite some time ago. I'm sure things have changed quite a bit now.

This is probably because it is the cheapest option to rent from Larry's Discount movie props on Hollywood BLVD.

I'd rather just complain and not take proper care of my things.

Maybe they saw the same movies as the OP.
