Getting my roof done (what am I looking at approx.)`

I know I'm bumping a really old thread, but don't want to run into the fata police

I'm looking to get some quotes on getting my roof re-done. I'm considering doing it myself, but want some quotes as well. I don't have a massive budget, and it should be a pretty easy job. Not an insane pitch to the roof, no nooks and crannies, just about as basic of a roof as you can get. The footprint of the house is about 600 sq/ft.

What I'm looking for is some contractors that you guys would recommend.

I live in Evergreen Estates, and a lot of homes in my area got damaged roofs from the hailstorm of 2011. The roofers hired by the insurance company who did our roof looked like they were right out of high school. Skinny young kids that couldn't of been older than 18 or 19 tops. Roof is still standing, so I'm assuming they did a good job. We seem to get a lot of hail around this time of the year in the deep SW part of the City. It's becoming the norm. Exterior is brick, so thankfully I don't have vinyl siding to damage.

I used Claw Roofing for my work.

Personally i would call all those listed in this thread and get an estimate.

Hell get as many as you can put up with...


If its been recommended on here chances are that the poster had a good experience with them.

From those quotations, make your decision.
