Really enjoyed the interview. Unfortunate his name was leaked by another news station. For those who didn't see the interview, here's a quick rundown of what I thought was great.
He was in disguise, having spent 4 hours in the makeup room to alter his appearance.
He gave a step by step account of the events that took place during the raid.
His book is non-political and doesn't discuss politics. It releases on 9/11 to avoid any theories of political bias.
The book is not a tactical guide, but purely a chronological account of the event. It doesn't reveal secrets of war or fighting tactics. He feels he is doing a service to America and the world by documenting the event as a part of US and world history. I agree.
While the government isn't happy with this release, he claims the SEALs that know him and were with him during the event are very supportive.
The Pentagon feels he broke a privacy clause he signed, but because no secrets or tactics were revealed, he feels he is not in the wrong. I think he's got some legal disputes on the rise in the near future.
