Brad Lincoln. Don't know much about him but I'm disappointed at first glance.

Lincoln has good numbers this year but mostly in relief... for guys this young you can't judge it for a few years but at first glance not the biggest fan of it

It is too bad they couldn't find room for Snider. I am really sad to see him go. We all followed his journey when he was drafted out of high school by JPR. He also had a tough life growing up. Besides being a fine respectable young man, he has a great attitude. I have to google Brad Lincoln (if it is him coming back).

Not sure what I think of the move. 27 years old, not a lot of time in the bigs yet.
But am I biased, Snider was one of my favorite Jays and I am sad to see him go. I wish him all the best in Pittsburgh. Well continue to cheer for him.

looking at it more in depth, its a good trade. Lincoln can be used as a starter or reliever. Averages 9K per 9 innings, has only walked 14 in 60 innings, and has a decent ERA/WHIP
He's also 27, so they should be able to control him for several years. Looks like a power arm for the pen. The Jays are deep in the upper part of the system OF wise so its all good.

Another strikeout. Good thing it wasn't a drinking game.

those numbers are in the NL Central though, not exactly the AL East
and while they are set at two OF positions for the future with Rasmus and Bautista, Gose's ability to hit is questioned, and Marasnick is still a few away
Snider's still untapped potential is elite power and average
I don't think this ends well

I can't be the only one to think it's comical that people thought Snider was getting traded for Matt Garza....can I?

dont think anyone expected straight up
but based on prior trades, Snider + one of the 3 pitchers (Sanchez/Nicolino/Syndergaard) is easily market value

Got the impression from listening to the radio that the home plate Ump Brian Gorman had a rather wide strike zone (perhaps too wide?). Can anyone who was able to watch this game confirm this?

Maybe, but the Jays were swinging at balls in the dirt.

Then EE strikes out. God damn it. Like I said last night, it would be a dangerous drinking game.
