They have a whole bunch of pike in there that you apparently can't eat but I only catch and release anyways.
Maybe you are you talking about Eagle lake?
Dad and I caught walleye trolling rapalas along the n side of the rr grade back when.
No boat rentals though.

No, the old strathmore reservoir. Not many people know of it (That sounded hipster, I know), but it's a great fishing spot.

Sure, if you're coming from Calgary you keep going until you hit the turn where the Husky gas station is. You take a left there and keep going until you pass the other lone gas station where the subway is. There is a light there. Pass the lights and then you'll see homes on the left. Keep going until the homes end. Take your first left after the last home. Go down the highway road for about one minute and you'll see big thick bushes on the left. It's a left after the bushes. There is a gate at the end of the dirt road. Park by the gate and take a 2 minute walk.

Get some stun grenades and a dip net......you'll have yourself a fish fry for 50 of your best friends in minutes.

How tall are the bushes on the left?
Ive got a limp (can only manage .75 km/hr) ...how long of a walk for me?
Is there a concession stand?
What are they biting on?

Sorry if that was over the top.
I was responding to percieved sarcasm with facetiousness (sp?).

If it's the same spot that I think it is, there's nothing in terms of concession/facilities.

It's a dirt/gravel road wide enough to drive down (but you're prevented by the gate).

Not too steep, footing pretty good. Usually encounter 3 to 4 dogs on the way down.
