That B team is pretty darn good.

Kemp and Coleman were beasts. Those guards? Wow

Oh, and that Wilkins guy was ok

I know it's only an early exhibition game, but 2012 Team USA only beat Brazil tonight by 11. From what I saw of the game, USA struggled with the length of Nene and Varejao inside.

So I can fully understand what you are saying, can you put together rosters for a similar NFL and EPL team?

LeBron saying the same thing now...

Quote:
"The '92 Dream Team paved the way for all of us ... We understand what they did for our game, but we also are big-time competitors as well, so if we got the opportunity to play them in a game we feel like we would win, too," James said.
Boy if this USA Basketball team chokes and doesn't win gold, they should all be beyond humiliated.

I would expect them to be classy about it and just say that it is tough to say because that was such a great team.

All he had to say was "They are perhaps the greatest team ever assembled but we think we're a great team too. I hope we'd give them a run for their money". Or some such quote.

That's pretty much what they have all said, no one has disrespected the dream team.

They all said it would be hard but they think they could win, I haven't seen any disrespectful quotes.

What they need to do is actually win the gold medal before they do anything else. If they don't, then with all the talk they had coming into this tournament people will label them as a massive disappointment and (deservedly) chokers.

Not only win the gold, but have at least a 20 point lead in each win while getting to the gold.
The old dream teams points leading average was 44 points a win. Given the competition has gotten better globally since then 20 points would seem pretty dominant. And I dont think the U.S team has done that at all in this tournament.
