But...but... you're number 2 on the posts list! A mere 1000 behind Resolute 14!!!

Never settle for second place!

The cranky posts kinda fit in with the bad Santa sig pic, I found your posts entertaining. If anyone feels you are too mean then they probably need to toughen up and learn to spot sarcasm. Anyway, have fun on holiday, bring me back a t-shirt.

Enjoy your hiatus Captain! I must say I enjoy your posts generally, especially those involving military topics considering your experience in the area. I'm sure you'll enjoy your time away, but please do come back at some point!

I suggest you just take the cinnamon challenge. Sounds a little easier. It's not an addictive substance, unlike CP.

Edit: I'm treating this like a breakup. we all get to be friends on cp, while you maybe will find some sub-flames fan friends.

Good call Cap'n, You have company.

The last couple weeks I have had the same feelings about my participation. And like you, it is the "it's not you, it's me feeling." Someone had said something to me via PM yesterday, that really made sense, and this is the right move. Great community here, best I have encountered online. Period.

This board has been awesome for the 5 years I have participated, and it has always given me something to do with chronic insomnia as most my posts come between 10pm - 3am. However now I am wondering if it the cause. I find I cannot take a passive, drive by approach to my participation, and I am all or nothing,

I like you CC, feel I suck at debating things, and always walk away from arguments feeling stupid for having an opinion. I am going to spend the next 6 months solely focusing on the next big challenge in my life. I have put it off long enough.

I have met A TON of awesome people on this site, and have had the pleasure of dealing with so many of you when you have bought cars from us. If anyone has any questions for me whatsoever, or want the 'good guy' CP deal, contact the user sopure as he will be running with the ball going forward. To be honest, I have tried a few times in the past to step back, but inquiries from the members here, be it just for advice, or for those looking to purchase a car from us has always drawn me back in. It was never my intent to make this site a little cottage side industry, but all the 6 figure CP 1%ers, have always been able to step up. Now that I have someone that can take that over for me that I trust, and I know will make sure you are all taken care of, I feel like I am not leaving you guys out in the cold.

Cheers, you guys are awesome, and I have an incredible amount of respect for every single one of you, even the ones I have had it out with over the last five years.

See you all in December.... or will I?

It's kind of funny you think that. I don't think you come off as mean or offensive. I think we had some good back-and-forths in the past, but I have come to really enjoy your posts and respect your opinions.

Have a good hiatus.

The funny thing is why start a thread? It will only draw you back to see what people have replied.

These threads are lame when there's no follow through so I hope you have more self control than pylon. Although if he keeps quitting maybe he'll be right one day too.
