I really like a lot of what Alvarez can do on the mound, all he needs is that strikeout pitch and he could be a great #3

Early game today. Joey Bats just homered again to tie it up a 2 after 3 innings. Harper is 2 for 2 again, 7 for 10 in the series.

My bad, Harper only has 1 hit today. 1-3 so far.

I hate being negative about these Jays but man, this has been just a horrible series for their bats.

Another bad outing for Drabek (despite the injury). Laffey is not an MLB pitcher. And another HR for the Nationals.

So now that hockey is over I focus all my attention to the Jays and it seems every year this is the time they start to suck and fall out of contention by the all-star break.
