He did not want to use the harness at all, as it hinders his ability to move. However, the Health and Safety Division would not approve of his adventure without it, so his hand was forced.

I liked the 'thank you jebus for your love and protection' segment half way across, presumably 'Jebus' didn't love his grandfather, aunts and uncles who all fell to their deaths.

It was fairly impressive, I thought the PBP guy was going to explode as he tried his best to ensure the walk was laced with contrived tension......
That wire would make the worlds most awesome zip line.......but that being said, I am not sure I would have the gonads to walk on a bridge that was over the falls.....
