I did it back in HS. Worst job I ever had as the wages were horrible and so was the job. My boss once told me he was going to Hamburger University and wanted to know if I was interested - I just laughed.

I swear, if you work there, at least know what a McGangbang is. It's just not as much fun ordering a boring ol' Junior Chicken and McDouble.

How is that even possible? Does the inside lane have to pass the food and money along?

I am getting the same reaction in my stomach as when I saw the picture of face-eaten guy in the zombie thread.

Unless you were raised on a diet of lobster and caviar, don't act like your stomach is too prestigious for fast food.

Haha, I worked at Mcdonalds back in old '86 when I was 15 or so. Starting wage was $4.00/hour. After one year, you could get bumped up to $4.10 and, better then that, you got to wear the full hat instead of the visor. I worked my way "up" to Big Mac station after 6 weeks or so, which was egg station for breakfast.

One crazy busy Saturday AM, my big fat slob of a manager starts yelling at me that he needs more F*%#ing Eggs. I tried to tell him that only so many eggs could fit on the grill at one time and I was running at maximum capacity, but no.... "I DON"T CARE, I NEED MORE F*%#ING EGGS!!!". I threw down my apron, told him he could make his own damn eggs, and walked out, leaving him standing there with his mouth hanging open and a mob of costumers demanding their eggs. Not going to lie, that felt pretty good

They have those 2 lanes in the states (go figure). Basically it was just an alternating feed to one window, but 2 orders were taken at a time.

I worked at the Glenmore Landing location in the mid 90's. $4.50/hour. I remember the stank of grease coming off me after every fry shift. sick.

Awesome story... I had a similar experience at Braums... Braums is our ice cream store here in Oklahoma. One summer my dad wanted to teach me the value of a dollar and forced me into working here 3 afternoons a week. 1 day I was making a Brownie Banana Fudge Sundae. You can't touch any part of the inside of the banana so... As Im cutting the banana in the proper way, slicing and letting the banana rings fall onto the Sundae , a few slices hit the ice cream and then fell off the side of the sundae onto the floor. My witch of a boss walks by and says " What do you think you're doing ? Those people pay damn good money for that banana and this isnt gonna cut it."

I took off my hat, my apron , and my lil drive through headset and said... " Well, you make the damn thing then." I walked out the door ... and took the F'in Sundae with me... AHHHHHH yeahhhh!

#### me, my first job was ten years later in the summer of 1996 and I was making $4.50/hr. Should have gone to McDonalds and ranked in the McBig Bucks.

I worked at McDonalds for one day in 2001. I hated it.

Then again, I hated anything that involved work back then.

My wife worked at McDonalds when she was 16 or 17 and got fired because she didn't smile enough.

I also once had a dream where the hamburger was eating me!

Well, since you brought it up, I don't eat fast food anymore, but I wouldn't eat processed fish and processed cheese stuffed inside a hamburger regardless of its pedigree.
