Have you ever criticized tv shows like The Bachelor or The Kardashians or other junk like that? Have you ever lamented that the overall quality of television would be increased if it wasn't for all the idiots who tune in for that garbage, making those shows extremely profitable for the networks? That's how beer/music/movie/whatever snobs feel about the things they care about.

I'm a snob about some things, sure, but if someone posts a thread about something I don't like, I don't get all high-falutin' and go in there and badmouth the people who do like it.

There's a word for that person, and it ain't "snob".

I don't mind Keiths and will drink it but there is no way its an IPA, it is a bog standard lager.

I remember the days where you could ask a simple question on CP (such as, "hey where do you guys think I can find this beer in Houston?") and not get smart ass remarks in response. Turns out that is no longer the case...

Thanks to those that actually had helpful responses. I will check out the places mentioned and hopefully find Keith's down here.

Fotze had it dead on. I enjoy Keith's for a number of reasons one of which is that I actually enjoy the beer.

For those of you that questioned ones ability to enjoy something that you may not generally like, just remember, to each his own.

No, because once again, who cares what other people watch/listen to? If you don't like it, don't drink/watch/listen to it. People aren't idiots because they enjoy something different than you. All of these things are completely, 100% subjective.

I would argue that this day and age, the quality of television programming has never been higher. Same with music. Same with beer. So your argument about "dumbing down" doesn't really hold water with me.
