Anybody catch the last 2 episodes? I thought it was a great series, especially the 2nd episode. Just an absolute bloodbath. Finale was decent too, though I think they tried a little too hard to be melodramatic. Still enjoyed it though.

Judging by some of the comments in this thread, people are PVR'ing it and planning on watching it later so I'm trying not to say too much. All I'll say is, that tune that Cottontop is whistling in the finale has been absolutely glued in my head the past 2 days, was whistling it all damn day yesterday. It'll getcha.

Some of the storylines don't really make much sense to me.

Just how accurate to the original true story is it?

i think that this mini series was one of the best things ive seen on tv in years. the ending was fantastic too. i thought at 1st the photos of the actors was cheesy being portrayed as the real people but... it turned out to be a really nice touch. loved the whole thing. great watch.

Bump!

It looks like this was just released on dvd/blu-ray. But it's labeled as "the complete first season" or opening season or something like that.

Is this actually going to turn into a tv show?

Where are you seeing that? Here's the ad for the Blu-Ray, and it just says that it's the "Original Uncut" version.

I'm pretty sure they covered all the history of the feud in the miniseries. The only way they'd be able to do anything more would be to go back and fill in the blanks.

No, they certainly didn't. The feud lasted well into the 20th century, carried on by the descendants of these two. It's fascinating stuff.
